In this video I will show you How to make Vazhakkai Poriyal / Raw Banana Curry.This Recipe take around 20 to 25 minutes only and very easy to prepare.This Rwa Banana / மொந்தன் வாழைக்காய் very common vegetables in south india.In Rural Village area people make many different types of recipes with various taste.Usually we are use all parts of banana tree.Steam,leaf,flower,fruit all are have different medicinal values.I use Raw Banana,Turmeric powder,Water,Salt,Cold press sesame oil,Mustard seeds,Split urad dal,Channa dal,Curry leaves,Green chilli,Hing powder,Red Chilli powder ,Onion and coriander leaves.This recipe best side dish for vatha kuzhambu,puli kuzhambu,kara kuzhambu,Rasam,sambar,Variety rice.

INGREDIENTS :-
2 Medium size Raw Banana.
1/4 TspTurmeric powder.
Required Water.
Required Salt.
1 Tbsp Cold press sesame oil.
1/2 Tsp Mustard seeds.
1 Tsp Split urad dal.
1 Tsp Channa dal.
Few Curry leaves.
1 Chopped Green chilli.
1/4 TspHing powder.
1/2 Cup Onion.
1 Tsp Red Chilli powder.
3 Tbsp Finely chopped coriander leaves.

METHOD:-
1.Peel Raw banana first layer thick skin in peeler.wash peeled banana and cut it in small cube sizes.
2.In pan add chopped Raw Banana,Turmeric powder,Water.Cook these ingredients in High flame for 3 to 4 minutes now add required salt and again cook 2 to 4 Minutes and switch off the stove strain the excess water and keep aside.
3.Heat pan add oil,Mustard seeds,Split urad dal,Channa dal,Curry leaves,Green chilli,Hing powder,Onion cook until onion turns Golden, now add Red Chilli powder,cooked raw banana mix well.and switch off the stove finally add coriander leaves.
Now our Vazhakkai poriyal / Raw Banana Curry is ready. Enjoy this recipe with your favorite dish.
